Portfolio briefing

TIPS:
Experiment with angles for imagery in order to show off your work in different lights. Then keep the angle consistent.

Light your work properly.

Don't shoot from too low down.

Shoot from above for a full view of the work.

For some styles scanning is ok (flat posters, little flyers, etc.)

Sequencing: do you need a cover page?

Start and end strongly.

Each project should include a brief description of the brief and concept.

One project per page.

Keep the images large in order to see the work.

No more than three pages per project.

Less is more. Don't overcrowd the page.

TASK:
Create a digital portfolio (PDF) of work including:
- Responsive projects
- Briefs of the week
- Book and screen responsive

RESEARCH:
Portfolios of work that is similar to what I create.

Creates work made using VR.
Uses video to show VR, along with images of use in real life.

Creates Face Filters, immersive interactive pieces, and VR.
Image of filter on phone mock up as well as images of filter in use by different people.
Any 3D assets for filter are shown alone, rotating to show its whole design from all angles.
Uses video and image of the VR being used.
Virtual reality piece has full video of the animation large on the screen, giving the viewer a similar experience. Scrolling down, you get images of the VR being in use as well as any text that was in the video.

Uses 3D to create immersive spaces and virtual environments.
Videos of exploring the 3D space that is created along with professional looking images from angles that show the space. Simply screen recorded.

3D animation and environments.
Shows work through a showreel as well as stills and the seperate elements.

IDEAS:
Create a video (mp4 format) portfolio that acts like a showreel. Videos of the VR inside and out, as well as the face filters being used etc. This allows for easy viewing of videos as well as still images, gifs, and text.

Due to limited amount of VR and face filters, and instead more publications, an interactive PDF is more appropriate, allowing videos to be incorporated to the pages.
