Realisation

A change of direction
After being briefed on how to go about the interview, I realised that  the chosen people I was looking at didn't fit into what I actually want to do. This is due to realising my interests in gahic design. Although Adam Griffiths work deals with a topic I am interested in, he doesn't create the physical outcomes that excite me and inspire my work. Although I am interested in traditional graphic design, such as printed matter, I think there is more for me in the new age of digital design such as that of VR, AR, 3D, motion graphics, etc. I am most interested in the creation of an environment and an experience, and how you can create this digitally, whilst comparing this to reality.

From this realisation i researched into those who experiment with these aspects of graphic design. A collective called Digi-Gal is an all inclusive global community that homes many graphic designers who deal with new digital platforms. Those part of this community are presented on the website, easily allowing m to filter what kind of work you would like to see. Using this as a tool to find out more about the areas of digital creatives, I found many designers that deal with my interests. I also tried to get those from the UK so that there would be no language barriers and limited time differences, and those with a website as well as an Instagram in order to filter out the more professional designers.

Plan of action - interview questions
Write up questions that are suitable for all designers that gain an understanding of the possibilities that these designers see with the new age of digital creation.
Depict what can be gained from the use of digitally made visuals placed in a real space orr instead of a real space.
How can this medium be used. Is it positive? What does the future hold?
Is digitally made data dangerous - effecting how see ourselves and mental health?
Is what we are making digitally what we wish to see physically, in reality?
