Instagram @getlostexhibition

The first post I wanted to create was the display of contributors. Inspired by a missing poster, relating to the lost aspect of the branding identity. It uses the typeface made for the branding, as well as the wiggly line and arrows symbols. I made sure to include the name, image of the person, place of study and where their work will be held. The text plays on the idea of the designer that is featured getting lost, and the map they have created is how to find them. I put a white thin stroke around the text and arrows and a white box where the name goes in order to make them stand out more and provide better clarity.

Improvements for instagram initials and layout ideas

This post has the poster spread over 9 posts.
Spread over 9 posts, this playful spread is to encourage people to come, asking a direct question that's suggesting them to get lost, when the viewer knows it really is asking if they will come to the exhibition. The text underneath explains what the exhibition in a short, obvious manner so the audience understands the intentions straight away, rather than after reading the rationale.

The rationale is spread over 3 posts.

To introduce the contributors catalogue on the instagram, 3 posts are taken up with this design. It uses the wiggles line, which the word 'contributors' is repeated to fit the shapes, one of which without the tenure to make it more clear. It also uses the logotype and the arrow to create continuity.

   →
The final design for the catalogue don't have a white stroke around any of the text and instead uses the multiply blend tool to improve the flow of the design. The name is in white at the side to keep its clarity whilst also flowing with the design. These improvements were discussed by the group, resulting in a design that is approved by all. From this I created a second design which shows the map by that person. It uses the logotype and the arrows but this tie the arrows point in different directions as if lost.
