Further exploration of modular type

TASK 2 EXPLORING MODULAR TYPE

From my sketchbook I looked for square, rectangular and quarter-circle shapes, selecting three that act as the modules to make up a typeface. I cut these out of foam and used them to create sculptures, which when seen from the correct angle, creates a letterform. This worked well, however the A, R and K are all the same.

I then cut the shapes out of card that when you cut through it, the edges are white, that at an angle creates an interesting white outline. I attempted to create a letterform from the white however they aren't very readable.
