Brief 1 

Creative report.


(Runs until christmas.)
Investigate a contemporary practitioner/studio/organisation.
Make a report about them.
Material drawn from at least one interview with a spokesperson from them.
Should be about their background, everyday practise, studio culture, and current place in industry.
Selected practitioner/studio/organisation should be relevant to personal practise.
Could be: small studio, large agency, individual freelancer, design festival, media outlet, star-up business, museum/gallery, blogger/social media, etc.
Deliverables: blog and creative report publication (in any form appropriate).


Brief 2

Lifes a pitch.


Pitch an event, exhibition or creative opportunity in Leeds. Working collaboratively, the event will be pitched for 10 mins and should be innovative.
Could be: an exhibition, a series of talks, podcasts, workshop, screening, performance, public space, project room, pop up, reading groups, etc.
Consider budget, venue, location, logistics, materials, technology, branding, marketing and a strong rationale.
Deliverables: pitch & presentation, design boards, and blog.


Brief 3

Personal presentations
5-7 mins that presents your experiences as a designer on the course to date.
Reflect who you are as a person, a learner, and a designer. Identify creative concerns, personal aims, and professional ambitions. Format should reflect your presentation; slideshow, video, storytelling, etc.
Deliverables: presentation and blog.
